GIMP (image editing and manipulation)

Gimp is an image processing program mainstay in UNIX operating systems such as Linux, like Photoshop in windows that have the ability to image editing and manipulation very good. You could say almost the same as photoshop.

Now there are gimp running on windows operating system, so windows users can try to use it. Highly recommended for our use because gimp is an open source program so that we do not have to pay a license to use it.

Gnumeric - Spreadsheet Open Source

The Gnumeric spreadsheet is part of the GNOME desktop environment: a project to create a free, user friendly desktop environment.

The goal of Gnumeric is to be the best possible spreadsheet. We are not attempting to clone existing applications. However, Gnumeric can read files saved with other spreadsheets and we offer a customizable feel that attempts to minimize the costs of transition.
